The Selby Table Lamp is a single sphere of alabaster raised on four slender brass-finish legs, each tapering gently outward from the stone to a rounded foot. The globe is left whole and unbroken, and the legs meet it high enough that the lamp appears lifted rather than mounted, with a shadow line running beneath.
The Selby is small and reads as an object first. It suits a desk, a bedside table, a bathroom shelf, a stack of books on a low table or the corner of a dressing table, and it is the piece to reach for where a shaded lamp would be too formal. Lit, the whole sphere glows evenly and the veining in the stone comes forward. Available in two sizes.
Every globe is cut from natural stone, so no two are marked quite alike.
