The Marden Pendant is a single flattened dome of alabaster, broad and low, meeting a shallow brass-finish plate above it. The stone swells gently from a rounded edge to a soft crown, and its lower face is left unbroken, so the piece reads as one continuous form when seen from below.
The Marden is the piece for a room where a taller pendant would sit awkwardly. Hung above a stair return, beneath a low ceiling, in a run of three along a hallway, or singly above a bedside table, its shallow profile keeps the light close without dominating the space. The closed underside gives a diffused glow rather than a directed pool, which makes it kind in a bedroom.
Every shade is cut from natural stone, so no two are marked quite alike.
